CORT Community Housing (Community of Refuge Trust) is a registered community and affordable housing organisation providing homes for people on very low incomes in Auckland. CORT has been offering community housing for more than 30 years.

We are a non-government, not-for-profit community organisation and a registered charitable trust. Any operating surplus created by the trust is used to grow and improve the work we do.

CORT Community Housing is governed by a board of voluntary trustees who employ staff to run its day-to-day activities. The organisation relies on the support of its tenants, a wide range of people and community groups to deliver its services.

CORT Community Housing has a property portfolio of more than 370 one and two bedroom properties. These are homes for over 500 people. CORT now owns over 280 of these properties and we are excited by the new homes we are building. We are also experienced providers of property management services for private property owners.
